Hydramotion Malton – UK is a technology for the measurement of viscosity based on the principle of vibrational resonance applied to a stainless steel probe which carries purely electronic microrotations without moving parts.

Hydramotion is particularly suitable in case of non-Newtonian and highly non-Newtonian fluids as it does not interfere with the molecular structure of the fluid.

Intended for various applications, Hydramotion viscometers can be installed vertically, horizontally and diagonally both for piping and in tanks or reactors. They do not emit sound or vibration and do not suffer from disturbing echoes.

The Hydramotion viscometers are not affected by temperature and pressure variations, avoiding possible drifts. In addition, the measurement is not affected by the presence of bubbles, particles or vibrations; thanks to the absence of forks or capillaries it is possible to prevent fouling and clogging.

The Hydramotion viscometers are able to operate up to 1000 bar pressure and 450 °C continuous operating temperature without cooling fluids and are provided with ATEX / IECEx certification, as well as a wide choice of attacks (DIN, ANSI, threaded, Sanitary, 3-A, …).

The Hydramotion viscometers are equipped with remote electronics able to compensate in temperature, pressure or density according to the needs of the process, as well as to calculate the reported viscosity. Each viscometer is calibrated with certified liquid at the factory.

LiquiSonic® Sensotech measures inline the concentration or density in almost every kind of liquid. The technology is based on a high-precision measurement and a very fast and stable analytical method, that is independent of conductivity, colour and transparency of the process liquids.

LIQUISONIC® SensoTech is an analyzer for on-line measurement of the liquid concentration. It works through the ultrasonic principle, whose operation is based on the concept of Sonic Absolute Speed or the propagation of sound waves in the medium (gas, liquid or solid).

LIQUISONIC® is made of a sonic waves emitter with a frequency of > 1 MHz and a receiver, both immersed in the liquid, which carry out a averaged measurement 32 times per second. Since the Sonic speed requires an accurate temperature compensation, LIQUISONIC® is provided with two Pt1000 temperature sensors embedded in the steel of the prongs, as well as analog inputs for measuring the pressure in line from the field or from DCS. Both electronics and the sensor in contact with the process are available in multiple variants, even maintaining the standard features of the LIQUISONIC® system:

The measure is not dependent on conductivity or fluid transparency

Can be installed in tanks, reactors, process lines, both vertical and horizontal bypass

No moving parts or seals or O-rings to maintain over time

The sensors are suitable for CIP and SIP procedures

Expanded Range nd = 1.2600 – 1.5000 with sapphire prism H74 for analyzing hydrofluoric acid

Wetted parts and prism seals in modified PTFE, prism in Sapphire H73 or H74, O-rings in Kalrez, sensor body in stainless steel with epoxy paint coating

Flow cell integrated into the sensor to avoid contamination

Connections: Flare Fitting or Nippon Pillar Super 300 for DN ¼ “, ½”, ¾ “, 1”

Installation both horizontal and vertical

ATEX IECEx version available

The PR-33-S SEMICONDUCTORS series presents the same technical characteristics of the AC Series but is designed for the market of manufacturers of machines, skid and compact systems for clean rooms. It has the following characteristics:

Stand-alone sensor with no remote electronics

Expanded range nd = 1.2600 – 1.5000, with prism H74 Sapphire for hydrofluoric acid analysis

Wetted parts and prism seals in modified PTFE, prism in Sapphire H73 (or H74), O-ring in Kalrez, sensor body in Ultra-pure Kynar® PVDF

Flow cell integrated into the sensor to avoid contamination

Process connections: Flare Fitting or Nippon Pilla Super 300 for DN ¼ “, ½”, ¾ “, 1”

Output 4-20 mA via Ethernet 10/100

JAVA Software © incorporated into the electronics of the sensor for viewing and managing through the analyzer corporate LAN, even from remote locations

The entire K-Patents series can be installed in many ways and is intended for multiple applications in several industries:
