<p>For applications in which water is used as a medium we recommend a 5-fold overpressure safety in combination with a condensation-tight case.</p>
<p>Due to its specifications, its features and its price, the <b>pressure transmitter</b> is ideally suited to OEM applications with an annual quantity requirement of more than 1,000 units of each part number. Accordingly, the minimum batch size is 50 units.</p>

<p>The model D-20-9 and model D-21-9 pressure sensors are the ideal solution in the field of industrial pressure measurement when a high-performance yet cost-effective solution with a CANopen interface is needed. These pressure sensors feature a high accuracy and flexibility with their alignment to the widest variety of measuring tasks.</p>
<p>All wetted parts are made of stainless steel and are hermetically welded. Therefore there is no need for additional sealing material, which could possibly react with the pressure medium.</p>
<p><strong>Bustechnology<br />
</strong>The integrated interface has been designed according to the CANopen<sup>®</sup> specification DS-301 of the user organisation CiA. The device profile DS-404 which is used here, has been specially designed by the CiA for the use in measuring and control instruments. This guarantees the compatibility with other CANopen<sup>®</sup> systems according to CiA specification.</p>

<p>A galvanic isolation of the output signal can be offered as an optional extra.</p>
<p>The D-2X-9 supports, among others, LSS, Node Guarding, Heartbeat, synchronous and asynchronous data transmission.</p>
<p>The Baud rate can be adjusted from 20 K Baud up to 1 M Baud. Configuration via a DIP switch is offered as an optional extra.</p>
<p>For easy configuration the tool EasyCom CANopen<sup>®</sup> is available.</p>

<p align="LEFT">It is particularly suitable for the special conditions of CIP/SIP cleaning processes, such as chemical stability towards cleaning liquids and high temperatures.</p>
<p align="LEFT">The flush diaphragm is directly welded to the process connection. This guarantees a crevice-free connection of the process connection and the measuring cell so that additional sealings are not required. For dead-space free instrumentation, aseptic process connections (clamp, threaded, VARIVENT ® and NEUMO®) are available.</p>
<p align="LEFT">The SA-11 pressure transmitter is ideally suited to fulfil the stringent demands of sanitary applications and is EHEDG certified. Furthermore, the SA-11 is marked with the 3-A symbol and current version number, as it conforms, based on a third party verification, to the 3-A standard.</p>

<p><strong>Design</strong></p>
<p>A diaphragm made of 1.4435 stainless steel forms a flush separation of the process medium from the pressure measuring instrument.</p>
<p align="LEFT">The process pressure is transmitted hydrostatically from the diaphragm, via an FDA-approved system fill fluid, to a piezo-resistive sensor.</p>
<p align="LEFT">The measuring range covers 0 &#8230; 250 mbar up to 0 &#8230; 25 bar.</p>
<p align="LEFT">The SA-11 pressure transmitter is powered with a DC voltage of 10 (14) &#8230; 30 V. Available electronic output signals are 4 &#8230; 20 mA, 0 &#8230; 20 mA or 0 &#8230; 10 V output.</p>
<p align="LEFT">A stainless steel case with an ingress protection of up to IP 68 offers a secure protection for external cleaning with splashed water and enables its use in high-humidity environments. Through the integrated cooling section, process temperatures of up to 150 °C can be realised.</p>

The WU-2x series combines state-of-the-art digital transducer concepts with analogue-like output signals, in order to provide the safest and most accurate pressure measurements necessary for today’s market requirements.</p>
<p>Pressure measurement, based on a true vacuum reference, and electronic measures for interference shielding and signal noise cancellation ensure high-accuracy pressure measurement and excellent long-term stability.</p>
<p>Active temperature compensation reduces the impact of changing temperatures on the transducer, allowing safe operations even in applications with high fluctuations in temperature, e.g. Joule-Thomson effect in the case of gas expansion.</p>
<p>WU-25 (flow through) and WU-26 (surface mount) trans ducers are specifically designed to sustain torsion-applied stresses often incurred during installation. The special design of the thin-film sensor eliminates the risk of sensor failure due to loads at the process connection or welded joints.</p>

<p><strong>Versatile</strong><br />
The WU-2x transducer can be readily installed in indoor or outdoor systems as well as in non-flammable or potentially flammable areas. The hermetically sealed design of the WU-2x prevents the ingress of humidity.</p>
<p>Approvals for non-flammable and potentially flammable environments ensure a high level of product safety. Instruments for temperature class T6 meet the high requirements for low, spontaneous ignition temperature media (phosphine (PH3) and silane (SiH4)).</p>
<p><strong>Compact</strong><br />
With its small footprint the WU-2x is the most compact UHP transducer in the market. Thus it is optimally suited for installation in applications with limited mounting space, and even in existing plants it can be easily retrofitted.</p>

</strong>The model S-20 offers continuous measuring ranges between 0 &#8230; 0.4 and 0 &#8230; 1,600 bar in all the major units. Furthermore, it offers numerous options, such as different accuracy classes, extended temperature ranges and customer-specific pin assignments.</p>

Thanks to IO-Link, the model A-1200 pressure sensor is ideal for use in intelligent machines. To ensure precise measurement results over the long term, the pressure sensor has integrated diagnostic functions that monitor the instrument status. In addition, the model A-1200 can be configured externally and conveniently via the digital signal and adjusted at any time.</p>
<p><strong>Robust and durable, even in harsh environments</strong><br />
The robust version of pressure sensor with IO-Link has been designed specifically for extreme environmental conditions. With a welded M12 x 1 connector, this can easily withstand shock loads of up to 1,000 g. It is designed for medium temperatures between -40 &#8230; +125 °C and can therefore be integrated into almost any application. Downtime and associated maintenance expenses and costs decrease significantly due to the stable design.</p>

<p><strong>Simple OEM integration</strong><br />
The integration of the model A-1200 pressure sensor into OEM series production is accomplished quickly. The sensors can be preset by WIKA based on the customer‘s desired parameters. Alternatively, automated IO-Link programming can shorten the configuration time in the factory.</p>
<p><strong>Fast maintenance thanks to visual feedback</strong><br />
A 360° LED status display provides visual information about the sensor status. The green (OK), yellow (critical state) or red (error) signal enables intuitive and fast error detection and correction. For maintenance, a blinking function via IO-Link facilitates the clear localisation of a pressure sensor. Confusion is prevented and maintenance is accelerated.</p>

The model S-11 pressure transmitter with flush diaphragm has been specifically designed for the measurement of viscous, paste-like, adhesive, crystallising, particle-laden and contaminated media, which would clog the pressure channel of conventional process connections.</p>
<p>Through its optimised design, the flush process connection enables cleanability with the wetted diaphragm integrated into the process. Low-maintenance and trouble-free pressure measurement is thus also guaranteed in critical applications with frequently changing media.</p>
<p>High accuracy, a robust design, high-quality workmanship and the high flexibility of configuration are key features of the model S-11.</p>

<p><strong>Flush process connection</strong><br />
All process connections of the flush pressure transmitter are made of stainless steel and are fully welded and isolate the medium from the pressure measuring instrument via a positive seal. A reliable, dead-space free sealing between the process connection and the measuring medium is thus assured.</p>
<p>For high medium temperatures of up to 150 °C (302 °F), the pressure transmitter is also available with an integrated cooling element.</p>
<p>Specifically for the food and beverage industry, a version with internal system fill fluid in accordance with FDA 21 CFR 178.3750 can be chosen.</p>

The pressure transmitters of the IS-3 series have been specifically designed for the highest industrial requirements in hazardous areas and feature the common approvals, such as ATEX, IECEx, FM and CSA, as well as a SIL rating per IEC 61508 / IEC 61511 for use in the process industry.</p>
<p>The model IS-3 pressure transmitter is available with measuring ranges up to 6,000 bar and is suitable for applications ranging from general machine building to high-pressure applications.</p>
<p><strong>Design</strong><br />
All wetted parts are manufactured from stainless steel and are fully welded. Internal sealing elements are completely avoided, so that the unit can be used with almost all media. The robust case is also made of stainless steel and provides a minimum ingress protection of IP65. IP68 versions are also available.</p>

<p>The process connections with flush diaphragm are particularly suitable for the measurement of viscous and contaminated media and ensure trouble-free pressure measurement at all times.</p>
<p>The optional field case of the model IS-3 enables operation in extreme environmental conditions and is resistant to acids, bases, oils and solvents. Via the field case connection integrated into the case&#8217;s head, the electrical cabling can be installed quickly and easily.</p>
<p><strong>Voltage supply</strong><br />
It is recommended that the intrinsically safe variants of the IS-3 series are powered via a suitable repeater power supply. <p>The case is made of a highly resistant glass-fibre reinforced plastic (PBT). This material is successfully used within the automotive industry.</p>
<p>A metallic shield inside the instrument provides excellent EMC characteristics in accordance with EN 61326, thus ensuring reliable operation, even under high exposures of up to 100 V/m.</p>

The model HP-2 pressure sensor has been specifically developed for demanding high pressure applications up to 15,000 bar [217,500 psi]. This makes it one of the few pressure measuring instruments in the world that can reliably measure pressures of this magnitude.</p>
<p><strong>High accuracy</strong><br />
This pressure sensor features a very high long-term stability and offers extremely high accuracy for the highest pressures. Measuring ranges up to and including 0 &#8230; 10,000 bar [145,000 psi] can, as an option, be supplied with an even higher accuracy of 0.25 %.</p>

<p><strong>Long service life</strong><br />
Thanks to its excellent load cycle stability, the model HP-2 has a particularly long service life, even with dynamic pressure profiles.<br />
A protection against cavitation and pressure spikes, specifically developed for highly dynamic pressure profiles, further extends the service life. For water as a pressure medium, this protection is particularly recommended.</p>
