										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The <strong>close-coupled submersible pump Scuba</strong> is a 5” pump. The <strong>close-coupled submersible pump Scuba</strong> has an integrated electric motor which is cooled by pumped liquid. The double mechanical face seals and the technopolymer impellers ensure superior performances and maximum operational efficiency.  The single phase version has an internal capacitor and built-in thermal protection meaning the pump does not require a connection to a control panel for starting. This design makes the submersible pump the ideal choice for primary water supply in tanks or reservoirs, sprinkler irrigation systems and pressure boosting as it can be installed directly inside tanks or wells to avoid suction problems.</p>

<p><strong>CONTRUCTION CHARACTERISTICS </strong></p>

<li>Close-coupled, multiple impeller submersible electric pump. The liquid end is located underneath the electric motor, which is cooled by the pumped liquid.</li>
<li>Impellers are radial centrifugal type, made of technopolymer.</li>
<li>AISI 304 stainless steel diffusers.</li>
<li>Outer sleeve, motor casing, suction screen and shaft extension are made of AISI 304 stainless steel.</li>
<li><strong>Dry motor.</strong> The electric motor is protected by a double seal system with an oil chamber. The silicon carbide mechanical seal, highly resistant to abrasion and wear, together with the second mechanical seal, lubricated thanks to the special configuration of the oil chambers, guarantee long-lasting reliability. The oil used is according to standard for oils in contact with foodstuffs (F.D.A. &#8211; FOOD AND DRUG ADMINISTRATION).</li>

The shaft alignment of each pump is specifically designed to reduce vibration issues throughout the lifetime of the pump. The wear ring on the Z10/ZR10 pump also keeps recirculation losses to a minimum, ensuring high levels of efficiency in applications such as supply of surge tanks and reservoirs, fire fighting and agricultural flood irrigation.</p>

It’s built mainly in stainless steel, has casted discharge and a special floating impeller design to enhance the wear resistance and to maintain the performance over time.</p>
<p>The <strong>submersible pump for 4” wells of the GS series</strong> is designed specially to be used in 4” wells and its ideal for use in irrigation systems, pressure boosting, geothermal systems and fountain applications.</p>
<p>All <strong>GS pumps</strong> can be coupled to 4” NEMA standard motors.</p>

<p><strong>CONSTRUCTION CHARACTERISTICS </strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Abrasion-resistant construction. The front wear plate, combined with the floating impellers, ensures optimum resistance to abrasion.</li>
<li>The upper and lower supports are made of precision-cast stainless steel, ensuring resistance to corrosion, durability and a sturdy coupling to the motor.</li>
<li>The hexagonal pump shaft guarantees an effective impeller driving.</li>
<li>A stainless steel non-return valve is fitted in the discharge to prevent any back flow of water and alleviate any water hammer to the pump, thus safeguarding impellers and diffusers.</li>
