<p>The single-phase <strong>Hydrovar Watercooled</strong> and<strong> Teknospeed</strong> variable speed electric pumps are designed for residential applications as they provide all the comfort and advantages of constant pressure in the home. The <strong>Teknospeed</strong> series comprises a frequency converter integrated into the pump which adjusts motor speed so as to constantly provide users with the same pressure, even when demand for water changes.</p>

It’s a matter of common knowledge that the use of speed controlled pumps saves energy and significantly reduces the life cycle cost of these engines.<br />
Particularly high energy savings are possible in circulating systems if the system is able to move the actual working point along the plant curve.</p>
<p>To realize this, most systems need a differential pressure sensor and a flowmeter.</p>
<p>Control by using the power consumption:</p>
<p>In the new <strong>HYDROVAR-sensorless system</strong>, instead of the costly differential pressure sensor, there is a highly accurate power measurement included.</p>

It can be mounted onto virtually any model of fan cooled motor and is simple to integrate into BMS systems with ModBus or Bacnet communication as standard. In a variable speed controlled system, the pump works every time with the speed where it produces at the reduced flow exactly the required head. Therefore there is no wasted energy given to the system like on/off or bypass control.</p>
