The valve is particularly suitable for use as a control valve<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> The valve plug is fixed to the spindle in such a way as to allow flexing during closure in order to ensure tight shut off. The valve spindle is sealed by a self-adjusting gland packing providing low maintenance and reliable valve spindle sealing even after a long service life.
